Principal’s Blog

The other day, I received a phone call from a man who watched our students taking down the flag at the end of the school day. He said that his family members were veterans and it made him happy and proud to see the reverence and respect that these young men had when they were taking down and folding the flag. He thanked me for Holy Trinity and what we teach and do here and asked God to bless us. That made my day and I needed to share that because everywhere our students go when they are in the Holy Trinity uniform, people are watching! We all represent Holy Trinity wherever we are, on the playground, in Wal-Mart, at our school Masses, at the grocery store, when meeting new friends, and it is so important to set a good example and to give glory to God by our actions. I am proud to be the principal of Holy Trinity and I am proud of each and every one of our students. The great thing about our Christian community is that we inspire each other in our Christian walk. Who knows how many times our faith has been spotted and someone made a better choice because they saw the choice that we made. That is the wonder of being in this community of faith together. Faith alone strengthens us…but faith together inspires more faith!
So, dear students, continue the good work, uphold yourselves to a higher standard, give our school a great name with your words and actions, and always remember to keep God at the center. Love & Blessings, Mrs. Cooney
