The Grapevine Newsletter 1.8.20

Dear Holy Trinity Families,

Over the past week I have been marveling at the amazing miracle two weeks away from students brings--everyone got taller! When we see one another daily, we don’t see the changes and growth that is happening before our eyes because we are often engaged in so many activities that we miss the obvious. Having a break allows us to see one another anew and then those bits of physical growth are so much more evident! It is one of my favorite things about returning after a vacation and it reminds me of the importance of really seeing others as they change and grow.

As the decade rolled over to 2020, I found myself reminiscing about my fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Midili who had the class calculate our age in 2020 during a math review. In awe we compared our “ages” and laughed because none of us could imagine for a moment being so old. Fortunately, we learn as we grow and realize it’s not the numbers that matter but the experiences we have with others as those years pass. We are blessed and so glad to be able to share this time with you and your children. The investment you have put forth into sharing your children with HTS is well worth it! We had many families take advantage of our no registration fee promotion. If you missed the no fee window, despair not! Between now and 1/31 the fee is reduced to $100, the fee will increase to $200 from 2/1 until 2/29. As of 3/1, the regular $250 fee will apply.

We have quite a bit going on in the coming weeks and months, so be sure to check the Office Notes below. As always, thank you for your encouragement and support, (We) ...can do all things through Christ who strengthens (us). {Philippians 4:13}.  The biggest event we will be tackling next is our annual auction! Please consider working with our auction committee to make our 20th Anniversary event a Roaring success!

After Tuesday’s confusing and slow to inform morning, you will find a brief (one question) Google Survey attached to our Grapevine this week. Please take a moment to answer the question and submit. I do apologize for the delay in announcing--had I known earlier, you would have known earlier.

Here is a link to get to the survey--thank you in advance for your time and as always, for your continued encouragement and support! Inclement Weather Decisions

Sincerely in Christ,
Dr. Young
