The Grapevine Newsletter 03.04.20

Dear Holy Trinity Families,

Spring has been in the air and our students returned from February vacation refreshed, excited, and ready to tackle the rest of the third quarter! We are closing in on our re-enrollment goals--thanks to all of you who have already completed the process--and we are seeing an encouraging increase in inquiries, new registrations, and appointments for tours. Word is getting out that Holy Trinity is a safe, loving, rigorous, and faith-filled school where our students are learning to be their best selves in a myriad of ways. We truly appreciate your trust and ongoing support and encouragement. Our school community is strong, resilient, and determined.

Our two flagship fundraising events are in full swing preparation as we approach our
20th Anniversary Auction on April 18th ($20 per person, dinner included) and 8th Annual Golf Tournament (flyer included below). Our event coordinators, Di Greenwood for the auction and Tammy Roberge, for the golf tournament are always ready to accept help and volunteers to assist. These events provide substantial funding for the school that helps us provide the rigorous, faithful, and Catholic education you expect.

If you can help with the tournament, please contact Tammy Roberge at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The golf committee meets weekly, Tuesday at 8:15 at Wayfarer and anyone who would like to join this dynamic and creative group are welcome to do so. Likewise, anyone who is interested in assisting with the auction can contact Di Greenwood at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Without our parent support and participation, these events wouldn’t be able to happen. Thank you for all you do to support HTS and its students!

For our families who have not yet completed the re-enrollment process, please do so
ASAP. As I have shared previously, our budget relies on our enrollment and the more accurate the information, the more accurate our budget. The directions are included below.

As many of you have shared, there is anxiety around the current COVID-19 virus and
what precautions we are taking to ensure our students’ and schools’ health safety. The letter emailed yesterday from the diocese is included at the end of our GV for this week. As this situation continues to develop, we will be updating information to be sure we are responding appropriately and accurately. The most common sense approach for staying healthy is frequent and rigorous handwashing (suds up long enough to sing the alphabet), coughing or sneezing into a tissue or the crook of the arm if none is available, frequent use of hand sanitizer, and cleaning shared surfaces (tables, desks, doorknobs, etc) with disinfectant. If you or your child begins to exhibit symptoms, please see your doctor immediately.

On a happier note, we will be hosting a Student Showcase, Open House and Family Pot Luck on Thursday, March 12 from 5:30-7 PM in the parish hall. Please invite prospective families to join us and experience the community we share at Holy Trinity!

Remember, be prayerful, be careful, and be kind!
Sincerely in Christ,
Dr. Young
