Special Education Coordinator (2023-2024)

Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Coordinator to join our team. This role will collaborate closely with the Laconia SAU office, specifically on initial student referrals and the renewal processes for 504 and IEP plans. The Special Education Coordinator will also provide one-on-one and small group support to students, ensuring they receive the specialized attention they require.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with the Laconia SAU office on matters concerning student referrals, 504, and IEP renewals.
  2. Implement and oversee personalized learning plans to ensure they meet the individual needs of each student.
  3. Provide direct one-on-one and small group support to students, enhancing their learning experience.
  4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure the holistic development of each student.
  5. Stay updated on current best practices in special education and attend relevant professional development opportunities.
  6. Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Must have a current NH DOE Certification. Special Education Certification is a strong plus.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  3. Proven experience working in special education or a related field.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Familiarity with IEP and 504 processes.
  6. Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff from diverse backgrounds.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS (2023-2024)

Substitute teachers are needed periodically throughout the year at all grade levels. Our substitute teachers, like everyone on our staff, are valued members of the Holy Trinity family. This is a great opportunity for those who have a love of learning, believe in the value of a Catholic education and enjoy working with children.

Qualified candidates have the following:

  • A college education and experience working with children
  • A caring demeanor with the ability to supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of our students at all times.
  • The ability to follow and implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher.
  • Sufficient skill to directly interact with students and parents in a compassionate and enthusiastic manner, and maintain confidentiality of records and information at all times.
